Sriracha and Slaw Burger

    • 2 tbs olive oil 

    • 1 pack Vegie DelightsTM Smokey BBQ Burgers 

    • 4 wholemeal bread rolls 

    • 2 tbs sriracha mayonnaise 


    • ¼ red cabbage, shredded 

    • 1 fresh beetroot, peeled and julienned 

    • 2/3 granny smith apple, julienned 

    • ¼ cup fresh parsley leaves 

    • ¼ cup fresh coriander leaves 

    • ¼ cup fresh mint leaves 

    • ½ fresh lemon, zest and juice 

    • 1 tbs olive oil 

    • Freshly ground black pepper to taste 


    1. Place all ingredients for the slaw in a medium bowl and stir thoroughly. Put aside.
    2. Preheat fry pan or BBQ plate to medium heat. Add oil and cook burgers according to pack directions. Remove from heat.
    3. Lightly toast rolls and spread with sriracha mayonnaise.
    4. Top base of bread roll with slaw, then burger patty. Season with pepper and close with the roll lid.
    5. Serve hot and enjoy.


    Use leftover slaw for lunches the day after
