Marmite™ and hummus wraps

    Great for lunchboxes, or to enjoy at your next family picnic.


    • 2 wholemeal flat bread
    • 1 tsp Marmite™ (or adjust to taste)
    • 2 tsp plain hummus
    • 1 tomato, sliced
    • 2 medium-sized lettuce leaves, shredded
    • ½ carrot, peeled and grated
    • ¼ cucumber, sliced
    • ¼ cup bean/alfalfa sprouts


    1. Lay the flat breads on a clean surface. Spread with Marmite™.
    2. Top with hummus and fresh tomatoes, lettuce, carrots, cucumber and sprouts. Roll up, encasing all the filling.
    3. Wrap well for a lunchbox or cut into smaller pieces for picnics.


    • Add cottage cheese, sundried tomatoes, cucumber, avocado or different types of salad leaves such as rocket for extra variety.
