2023 World Rugby Player of the Year and New Zealand All-Black, Ardie Savea joined Sanitarium as an official Kiwi Weet-Bix Kid earlier this year, reigniting a love of breakfast across generations of Kiwi Tamariki through capturing the essence of what it meant to be a Weet-Bix kid in New Zealand.

“I’ve eaten Weet-Bix virtually all my life, and it’s such an honour for me to be an ambassador named Weet-Bix Kid. I hope that I’ll be able to inspire the next generation of Rugby players and youth to do good both on and off the field,” says Ardie.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Sanitarium So Good High Protein Almond Milk
  • 1 Weet-Bix or Weet-Bix Gluten Free biscuit
  • 1 banana, chopped
  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
  • 2 tbs protein powder (optional)

Method

  1. Step 1

    Chop banana.

  2. Step 2

    Crumble Weet-Bix into the blender.

  3. Step 3

    Add all other ingredients in blender and pop the lid on.

  4. Step 4

    Blend until smooth.

  5. Step 5

    Pour smoothie into your favourite cup and enjoy!
