Cottage Pie

    Ingredients

    • 415g can Vegie Delights™ Casserole Mince
    • 1 tbs olive oil
    • 1 onion, chopped
    • 3 garlic cloves, chopped
    • 1 carrot, peeled & diced
    • 1 cup frozen peas
    • 1 celery stick, diced
    • 3 tbs no added salt tomato paste
    • Pepper to taste
    • 3-4 cups mashed potato
    • 4 cups cooked green beans to serve

    Method

    1. Step 1

      Preheat oven to 180°C. Heat oil in a medium fry pan, add onion, garlic, carrot, peas and celery and fry until soft.
    2. Step 2

      Add tomato paste and Vegie Delights Casserole Mince. Season with black pepper. Simmer gently for 15 minutes.
    3. Step 3

      Pour mixture into a baking dish and top with mashed potato. Bake for 20 mins or until brown.
    4. Step 4

      Set aside to cool slightly, and serve with green beans.
