Berry tart

Quick to make, this delicious tart is a great way to end your next dinner with family or friends.


  • 1 sheet canola puff pastry, reduced-fat
  • ¼ cup almond meal
  • 1 punnet strawberries, halved (or 200g blueberries)
  • 1 tbs raw sugar


  1. Cut pastry in half. Score a 1cm border around the edge of the pastry.
  2. Sprinkle almond meal in the centre of the pastry. Top with strawberries and sprinkle with sugar.
  3. Bake in a moderate oven, 180°C for 10-12 minutes or until edges are puffed and golden.


  • You can use fresh raspberries, blackberries or a mixture of berries to make these delicious tarts, or use frozen berries.
  • Serve with natural yoghurt topped with lemon rind.
