Our passion for truly nourishing food and caring for the world in which we live underpins our sourcing of food ingredients like palm oil.
Food manufacturers use palm oil for its ability to help maintain shelf-life and provide texture of food products. Advances in food science have enabled us to remove palm oil from a number of our products through reformulation.
Where there is no practical alternative solution to palm oil, we use Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) certified sources on a mass balance or traceable basis. RSPO palm oil means that the livelihoods of people are considered and environmental factors are carefully managed in the farming and harvesting of crops.
We continue to work with our food ingredient suppliers to ensure that, where palm oil is used, it is RSPO certified.
