Gluten Free Choc Clusters

    These easy to make gluten-free clusters by Marika Day are super crunchy and nutritious.

    Ingredients

    • 1 cup buckwheat groats
    • 1 cup puffed quinoa
    • 1 cup mixed nuts and seeds
    • ¼ cup cocoa powder
    • 2 egg whites
    • 2 tbsp avocado oil (melted)
    • ¼ cup rice malt syrup 

    Method

    1. Preheat the oven to 190°C and line a baking tray with baking paper. 
    2. In a large mixing bowl add all ingredients and stir well to ensure all dry ingredients are coated with the wet ingredients. 
    3. Place the granola mixture onto the lined baking tray and spread evenly. 
    4. Bake for 20 minutes. 
    5. Allow to cool. Once the granola has cooled break into bite-sized clusters. 
    6. Serve with yoghurt and fruit, or sprinkle on top of smoothies and smoothie bowls.
