Apple and berry crumble

    An easy and delicious take on the classic apple crumble. Apples and berries combined with delicious Canadian Maple & Raspberry Granola™ makes for a perfect winter warmer.

    Ingredients

    • 2 cups SanitariumTM Canadian Maple & Raspberry GranolaTM
    • 1/2 cup toasted hazelnuts, roughly chopped
    • 1/2 cup wholegrain oats
    • 1 tsp cinnamon
    • 1 tsp mixed spice
    • 2 Tbs low fat spread, melted
    • 1 Tbs honey
    • 4 red apples, peeled, cored and sliced
    • 1 1/2 cups frozen mixed berries, defrosted
    • 2 Tbs maple syrup
    • Plain unsweetened yoghurt or non-dairy alternative, to serve

    Method

    1. Step 1

      Preheat oven to 180°C.

      Arrange sliced apples and berries in a 6-cup capacity baking dish and drizzle over maple syrup.
    4. Step 4

      Top with crumble mix and cook in the oven for about 30 minutes until fruit is tender. Serve with plain unsweetened yoghurt.
