Ingredients
- 3 sheets of wholemeal puff pastry or reduced fat puff pastry
- 3 tbsp (60ml) No Added Salt tomato paste
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- ½ cup mixed finely chopped pizza vegetables (capsicum, mushroom, olives, pineapple)
- 75g grated reduced fat mozzarella cheese
- 1 pack of Vegie Delights™Hot Dogs
Method
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line 2 baking trays with baking paper.
Step 2
In a small bowl, combine the tomato paste, garlic and oregano and stir to mix well.
Step 3
Use the back of a spoon to spread 1/3 of the tomato mix over 1 sheet of the pastry.
Step 4
Sprinkle the pastry sheet evenly with 1/3 of the vegetables and the cheese.
Step 5
Lay 2 Vegie Delights™ Hot Dogs along pastry and roll pastry to wrap around the hot dogs. Use a little water to seal the edge of the pastry sheet once all rolled. Cut the sausage roll evenly into 8 pieces.
Step 6
Repeat with remaining pastry, vegetables, cheese and Vegie Delights™ Hot Dogs.
Step 7
Lay the pinwheel pieces centre side up on the baking trays. Cook for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
