Soft plastics stewardship
We’re a member of the Soft Plastics Recycling Scheme, which provides a collection service for soft plastic packaging materials, including cereal bags, liners and plastic wrap, in many stores around the country. The scheme is 100% funded by industry members like us, who pay for collection and the processing of soft plastics. This scheme is supporting the development of onshore processing of post-consumer soft plastics in New Zealand, helping create a circular economy for this material.

Introducing rPET
We have transitioned our Marmite jars from virgin plastic (PET) to 100% recycled plastic (rPET). This is the only packaging format that can be recycled again and again,
helping drive the circular economy. We've also reduced the amount of plastic in the lid.
