  • 2 tsp oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 1 tbs tomato paste
  • 1 cup roasted unsalted cashew nuts, finely ground
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese, optional
  • 2 ½ cups stale breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbs chopped fresh rosemary
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh chives, or 1 spring onion, finely chopped
  • 6 sheets filo pastry
  • oil for brushing
  • 2 tsp sesame seeds
  • 2 tsp poppy seeds
