Weet-Bix™ with apple and maple syrup

    Try crisp apple slices and delicious maple syrup on Weet-Bix™ for a snack.

    Ingredients

    • 1 Granny smith apple, core removed
    • juice of 1 lemon
    • 4 Weet-Bix™ wheat biscuits
    • ¼ cup maple syrup or honey

    Method

    1. Slice the apple into very thin pieces. Drizzle with lemon juice to reduce browning.
    2. Arrange the apple slices on top of the Weet-Bix™ wheat biscuits.
    3. Drizzle with a little maple syrup or honey.
    4. Serve immediately.

    Tips

    • Any type of new season apple can be used.
    • Gluten-free Weet-Bix™ breakfast biscuits makes a great substitution for a gluten-free diet.
