Spaghetti Bolognese

    • 1 packet Vegie Delights™ Savoury Mince
    • 1 Tbsp olive oil
    • 1 large onion, diced
    • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
    • 2 tsp mixed Italian herbs
    • 1 Tbsp No Added Salt tomato paste
    • 1 cup water
    • 1 x 400g tin No Added Salt diced tomatoes
    • 400g fettuccine pasta

    To serve

    • Parmesan or cheese of choice
    • Fresh basil leaves


    1. Drizzle olive oil into a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, and cook for 4 - 5 minutes, or softened and starting to colour. Add mixed herbs and cook for 30 sec.
    2. Add Vegie Delights Savoury Mince to the onion mixture, and break up with a spatula.
    3. Add tomato paste, tinned tomatoes, and water. Stir well and bring to the boil.
    4. Reduce heat, and simmer for 6 - 8 mins, or until sauce is thickened.
    5. Cook pasta according to packet directions. Toss pasta with Vegie Delights Bolognese, serve with cheese and fresh basil.
